El Open Water Diver course It is the first level of certification for recreational diving recognized worldwide. This training allows you to dive autonomously to 18 meters deep, without the need to be accompanied by an instructor.
With this certification, you can explore the underwater world with confidence, whether in the sea, lakes, cenotes or any other aquatic environment.
Our Open Water course takes place over three consecutive days, combining theory, pool practice and real experiences at sea. The goal is for you to learn step by step, in a relaxed and safe environment.
Day 1 (15:00 to 18:00): we started with the enrollment process, the filling out of documentation and a theoretical class where we covered topics 1, 2 and 3. Then, we went to the pool to practice in confined waters and familiarize ourselves with the diving equipment.
Day 2 (10:00 to 16:00): we continue with topics 4 and 5 of the theory, and we carry out our first two open water dives, where you will apply what you have learned in a real and safe environment.
Day 3 (8:00 to 12:30): we ended with two more dives in the sea, followed by the final theoretical exam, necessary to obtain your international certification.
The Open Water course combines theory, practice in confined water and immersions in open water. It's designed to give you all the knowledge and skills needed to dive safely.
